Wonderful views in the mountain air - always an amazing time. Excellent spa experience, Tea was amazing. We both had a hot stone massage and then took a couple of hours to enjoy the waterfalls, mineral pool and hot tub outside in the sunshine. Bruce, our waiter for tea was amazing and gave us a couple extra macaroons to take home to the grandsons. Would highly recommend a stay here!!!

Banff Springs is exquisite. So much history. Absolutely breathtaking. The rooms were small and somewhat dated but well worth the stay. Would definitely stay here again. The staff were incredible and we were well looked after.

The popularity of Banff Springs need not to be elaborated much more. The hotel itself is a historical building with great vantage points for Bow river lookout. It's like a jewel in the mountain, especially view from Surprise Corner. The room is good as well as cleanliness, but expect a little bit aged considering it's a building with over 100 years old. Staying in this hotel seems like having an achievement rather than accommodation purpose only. It's like a maze from buildings to buildings, there is even ghost stories being told in this building, which will not be spoiled here.

We had the chance to go to hot springs for a relax evening, and it's definitely worth it. The sighting of several elks wandering around the premises was quite a enjoyable moment when bathed in the legendary hot springs. Overall, it's a great hotel to stay in Banff, however, the price should be considered if staying at peak season.

Hello Sean L,

Thanks so much for sharing such a thoughtful and detailed review. We're so happy to hear you enjoyed our UNESCO World Heritage Site. We definitely agree that Banff as a whole sees more traffic in the summer season. The fall and winter provide exceptional value for room rates and the opportunity to explore a new and stunning season in the Rockies.

Thank you once again for joining us and we hope to see you again soon!

The Hotel was fantastic and was the first time I have stayed here.. although I have been to Banff many times. The conference was extremely busy and we had little downtown. Next time I will ensure I spend more time at this historical hotel and soak up the atmosphere.
