Thanks Rimrock! We very much enjoyed our overnight stay for many reasons. The friendly staff member who arranged our reservation, the bellmen who greeted us, the card and treat left for us in our room, the staff that served us while we sat around the firepits and the prompt room service we received. We also loved the view from our room and the chance to take in the sights and sounds of the area from our balcony. We were thankful that we could regulate the temperature in our room as it meant for a good night's sleep.

Room tip: The rooms with mountainviews are worth it if staying at the resort and relaxing is part of your experience.

We were at the Rimrock Hotel this past three nights in April. A very good experience. The hotel is doing everything right to make you comfortable during this Alberta out break. From meeting you at the curb side valet for check in to the wonderful room service. At no time does anyone enter your room while you are there. We stayed in room 965; it needs a new mattress. The lighting in the bathroom is rather dim for any women putting on makeup. Our room needed to be more thoroughly vacuumed before our arrival as I found a potato chip under a chair. (we didn’t have potato chips) It was a special birthday for myself and when we arrived there was a special treat for my husband and I. The concierge was very helpful assisting my husband with the purchase of flowers and helping us transport them home. It is a beautiful hotel. So we’ll situated for peace and quiet. The view is outstanding.

Stay at the Rimrock for years when ever we went to Banff always had a good stay and treated excellent but we went up for my birthday tryed to up grad are room was told couldn’t then staff told us they were at 4% occupancy. Then we had charges being put on are card when we usually get a Dept put on are card and pay in full when we leave the front desk lady said that’s what they were doing at the time we checked in then when ask the front desk about charges the second day she said that’s the way it is basically and then we ask for a manager and she got angry. We asked to speak to trever long the general manger that left a cars on are room and a note for my birthday saying if we need anything to call but front desk said he was not in on a Friday we email him and no response to this day after that we talked to the front desk manager he kept going on about 18% gratuity that we didn’t even care about we tip on top of that when we expected good service. The front desk manger would not listen kept talking about Gratuity so I said it’s like you don’t want are business if no we can check out and he said ok so we did and sense I have been a fairmont card member for years we went to the Banff springs and got treated like royalty because that’s what you expect for a top hotel in Banff. After all this time going to the Rimrock was very disappointed in the way they operate now I did not expect this for the Rimrock and will never come back we will be telling all and friends and business associates that have always gone there to the story. Very disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!

While we appreciate that the guest felt that there were inconveniences present during their experience with us, we would like to assure our readers that as a hospitality provider, we took every step possible to ensure that they enjoyed their experience.
We apologize for the inconvenience that was caused by our front office team's request for a new payment option to cover the outstanding balance and as we can appreciate that the guest was inconvenienced, our General Manager followed up personally on many occasions to ensure that guests satisfaction.
The Rimrock Resort Hotel is very proud of the level of service that we are able to provide to our guests and look forward to continuing to be the best in class when you come to visit.

This was by far the best stay we have had in Banff. We been going for about 12 year and The Rimrock staff was awesome. They were friendly, very helpful and the location and view was awesome. Definitely going to stay there. Even with the COVID 19 restrictions everything was great.

We stayed at the Rimrock for a couple nights over Spring break. The hotel was very nice and all the staff were very friendly. I had asked for extra towels and a step stool for my daughter to reach the bathroom sink in my request and both were already in the room when I arrived.

Beds were very comfortable and rooms very spacious and clean. The mini fridge was handy to keep our drinks cold. We did late check in the staff who greeted us at the door was super friendly. I think his name was Jason. He helped us with our luggage to our rooms.

We didn't get a chance to partake in any amenities at the hotel as we had booked a Johnston Canyon ice walk for the next day.

This was our first time to the Rimrock and we loved the hotel and all the friendly and helpful staff. We will be back again!

Room tip: Standard room with obstructed view was not bad. See photo attached.
