The thermostat in the rooms doesn't work effectively and we had to leave our balcony door open both of our nights. This was really frustrating as then we would wake up in the night quite cold. Other than this the hot tub was nice (but shut early at 10), the alcohol store was convenient, the buffet breakfast was very nice and had a great variety, and the rooms were relatively sound proof. All in all a nice stay,

Our room on the first floor was sufficient for one night. It is in need of upgrading, but we were informed that renovations will be done in 2018 and until then maintenance be done on an emergency basis. The young folks next door had an enjoyable evening until someone complained about the noise. The breakfast was mediocre at best, but complementary, So, if you want a 'cheap' stay in Banff, and have modist expectations, this could be a fit for you.

Spent one night there after an amazing day out in Banff. The mood is pretty hard to spoil but this place made it so. Without air con and the balcony door open, our room (facing a Brick wall) was too stuffy to be comfortable. The bed was creaky and the bath had very old American Standard taps. The price is basic so I don't expect much, but the lack of even a fan to circulate air in the room made it really hard to feel good about this place. The only saving grace - the friendly staff.

Our view for 2 nights was a brick wall and dirty utility area. We waited for over 30 mins for our luggage to be delivered to our room, eventually went and collected the bags myself as we where tired of waiting (We had already tipped for this service when our booking was made). Hallways smelt of damp and cigarette smoke. Only 2 towels provided for 3 guests, we had to request a third. The only real positive I can write here is that the young girl working in the restaurant for the breakfast buffet was fantastic. We stayed here as part of a tour group, if you have the option I would look at other accomodation first.

We stayed here as it was one of the last rooms available in Banff. Reasonable prices and reasonable rooms, this hotel is average and fine for what we needed. Definitely not luxury and I could complain but I'm generally content seeing as we love Banff!
