The Boot is a gem in South Derbyshire. For the small village of Repton to have such a wonderful restaurant is a wonder and an great asset. The food is always good here. The Boot IPA is second to none and the only IPA I will drink (others seem to try to bludgeon you with their IPA hoppiness which leaves a terrible taste behind). The Sea Bream was a refined, complex dish with a lovely filet stacked on top of spinach loveliness. The chicken and brie sandwich was sumptuous - delicious and filling. Their hot roast beef and horseradish sandwich on Sundays is the perfect way to end a long walk into town...along with a Boot IPA, of course.
