Our family of 6 just spent an excellent and relaxed week in The Studio. 1 double, 1 twin and 2 single bedded rooms was just the right combination for our family of 1 boy and 3 girls, 2 of them grown up; many holiday lets for 6 seem to have 3 bedrooms.
The Studio is on a small back street in Harbertonford, which itself is on the road between Totnes and Dartmouth. There is some traffic noise from this road which you could hear from the garden but it didn't disturb us.
The 4 bedrooms are smallish but fine for a holiday and didn't feel cramped. The open plan sitting / dining / kitchen is very bright and spacious and has French doors leading out to the sunny patio / lawned area.
There is also a shower room / toilet and separate toilet.
The Studio is well equipped with all kitchen utensils, cutlery, etc., I can't remember seeing a tin opener. There is a large TV/DVD and the most essential thing for teenagers... Wifi internet.
In the village there was a post office with shop, petrol station with shop and a pub. The village is fairly pretty but seemed limited for going on long walks. To get to most places you need some transport, we had a car but there was a very regular bus service through the village and Totnes has very good train connections so a car wouldn't be compulsory.
The friendly owner lives next door and parking is on the drive.
The owner's son was having a 21st birthday BBQ and we were very kindly invited but had other things on; we weren't disturbed at all btw.
Plenty to do in the area with our highlight being the beautiful Coleton Fishacre house , gardens and cliff walks.
If we were to visit this area again we would certainly rebook The Studio.
