I thought I understood the word "paradise" until I stayed at La Casa Laura. Now I know the definition of the word through 4 nights and 5 days of pure bliss. Our group was 11 people strong and this house had more than enough room for everyone. Every couple got their own room and get this... EVERY ROOM IS AN OCEAN VIEW. Not only is every room an ocean view, but you can sleep with the windows open and hear the waves crash right next to the house and see a million stars at night. Its enchanting.

The house sits right on the beach and the snorkeling is phenomenal. We had a hard time leaving the ocean because there was always new sea life to look at. The house has kayaks and a stand up paddle board that you can use which makes paddling to the deeper water even easier. The water is as warm as any tropical fantasy you've ever had. Its perfect.

If you aren't huge on marine life the pool at the house should give you your H2O fix. Its a hot tub and infinity pool with views for days.

When we arrived we were treated to a home cooked meal from Nora and Carols. They take care of the house and absolutely took care of us with that welcome meal, it was perfect!

Los Barilles has an abundance of activities itself. We went to the release of baby sea turtles, rented quads and enjoyed so many of the delicious restaurants. Laura and Steve have great suggestions!

If you are looking for a place to stay in the area I can't stress it any more, look no further. This is the house. This place is magical. Laura and Steve are incredible hosts and we feel so lucky to have had the time we did at La Casa Laura.
