“Wonderful house.”
Reviewed 1 October 2015 for a stay in September 2015

We have just returned from our holiday and already want to go back! The house is gorgeous. Stylish but incredibly comfortable at the same time. There were 6 of us and three lively toddlers and there was more than enough space. The proximity to the beach was incredible, literally on our doorstep. This meant that the beautiful back garden didn't get much of a look in! The whole area is just beautiful and the people friendly. Highly recommend this place.

“the most beautiful beach house in a perfect location”
Reviewed 13 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Fantastic views...the boats in the harbour were a constant source of entertainment as was the sunrise. Situated right on the beach the house was a safe haven for small children and grandparents with just a short walk to the nearest restaurant (Baywatch on the Beach) water taxi to a cafe across the bay and a small shop which supplied all the basics. Kayaking, windsurfing etc for hire 3 minutes walk and at weekends a kiosk near the harbourmasters office sells bacon rolls and fresh coffee! Recommended is the walk along the beach to SeaView via Priory Bay - stunning. The house itself is pristine and relaxing with a high standard spec and in all has everything a large family on holiday would need including buckets and spades!

“Wonderful house in idyllic location for exploring the Isle of Wight”

Had a lovely sunshiney week at Harbour View Beach House on the outskirts of St Helens, Isle of Wight.
The house was perfect for our family. It had everything needed for a great week away. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and felt like a real home away from home.
The house is situated outside of St Helens, right on the sea and has marvellous views of Bembridge across the bay. We spent many hours sat in the front garden watching the various boats come in and out of the harbour. A short 3 minute walk round the coast is Bayeatch On the Beach. A great beach cafe / restaurant where we watched the sun go down over a bottle of wine.
St Helens itself is just over a 10 minute walk across the quaint causeway and dunes. It boasts Dan's Kitchen - a great little restaurant with friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Other nearby highlights for food are The Crab & Lobster Inn in Bembridge and the marvellous restaurant at The Seaview Hotel in Seaview - we would definitely recommend the restaurant there.
Though we spent a lot of time around the house and gardens, Harbour View was also a great place for exploring the island. The family had a great time at Godshill. We'd recommend a trip to the magnificently well kept Model Village and lunch at The Taverners. Other must-dos are the fantastically curated Roman Villa at Brading, the various glassworks at Arreton Barns and the obligatory visit to Alum Bay for a boat trip round The Needles.
In all I would definitely recommend staying at Harbour View. Though the weather was red hot during our stay, we felt it would also make a great bolt hole come autumn and winter. The lounge has a cosy looking wood burner that we didn't get chance to use.
A great family house with loads to do on the doorstep.
