My stay with this hotel was absolutely fantastic. I only speak English and from the bellman to the check-in staff to the maids they All made my stay one to remember. To me this is reflective of management.
Would recommend this hotel

Room Tip: Ask for a room that looks towards the ocean and if your me you'd ask for no adjoining rooms

The Gamma hotel in Ixtapa had THE most friendly staff i have encountered. Right from the bellman to the maids, these wonderful people wanted to make sure your stay is the best any hotel can offer. To me that's reflective of management. Thanks Gamma, it was great

Stayed overnight...the service was great. Rooms super clean and comfortable. Food was amazing. We didn't try the pool but looked super clean. Great Location... a short walk to Señor Frogs and Malkerida. Overall good experience.

Internet might as well of not existed, Food was horrible. Had to ask for Toritios. Hardly any towels in the rooms. Staff was not pleasant at all. Were told it was on the beach and it isn't anywhere close to the beach. Bar at the pool wasn't open and people were swimming. No one manned the towel booth. Had to help myself...

We stayed one night at the Gamma de Fiesta Inn in Ixtapa (formerly the Holiday Inn) before moving on to Zihuatanejo for the remainder of our two week trip. We were a little leery staying there after reading the previous poster's review about piled garbage everywhere, etc. But our fears were completely unfounded. On arrival, the hotel looked inviting, a cool breeze flowed through the open air lobby and we were greeted by several staff members whom were absolutely lovely to deal with. Our room was very basic but extremely clean and bright. The shower had hot water with good water pressure. We had a balcony overlooking the pool area. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant as the hotel is 1 block off the main drag and an easy walk to several restaurants. The hotel is not directly on the beach but so close it didn't really make a difference to us.

I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for an economical, simple getaway with or without children (there seemed to be quite a few families staying there at that time). Good property.
