“Lovely homely cottage”

We stayed here with our two boys and had a fabulous time. There is plenty to do nearby, we wished we could have stayed for longer. The cottage itself is well equipped and a home from home. The garden was lovely for the children to play in. The views are stunning too. We had a lovely time.

“Well kept cottage in convenient yet very quiet location”

We booked to stay in Trengrove Cottage through Airbnb, which we'd never used before, but it was a wholly positive experience. The cottage feels quite remote, down very lush Cornish lanes, yet there are a number of towns, villages and beaches worth visiting within a very short (20 min) drive. You do need a car though.

The cottage itself is well equipped and tastefully furnished. I hate those holiday cottages that feel neglected and repositories for all sorts of unloved things - Trengrove Cottage wasn't like that at all - you could tell that it's been done up with care. Indeed the owner does holiday there himself, which is always a good sign. The cottage was also clean. Although we were here in the early summer I imagine it would be fine at other times of the year: there was central heating and a wood burner, and we did manage to enjoy the well tended garden (between showers).

I would certainly stay here again: there was more to do than we could manage in a long weekend.

“Terrific Trengrove!”

I have just got home from a fabulous week at Trengrove - what a wonderful place! Ian and Derek were superb hosts - excellent communication, and instant response to questions. Trengrove is so beautiful, and the facilities are superb - lots of little (and big) touches, including slippers! We cooked a couple of times, and the kitchen is really well equipped. The new fire is great, and the instructions are easy to follow!

“Beautiful location and price.”

This place is excellent. The host is efficient and pleasant. It's a beautiful location in easy reach of quaint towns such as Polperro. The house is successful as it manages to combine country charm with modern conveniences; you have a open fire but wifi too! For the size of the house it was good value.
