We have just stayed at Just Beachy for a 4 night stay and can recommend this great apartment.
There is ample room in the main living area, and the bedrooms have enough storage for clothes. There is everything you might need in the kitchen, although we only cooked one night, and used the BBQ another. The place is kept clean and has lovely furnishings. The only downside is the shower and kitchen tap doesn't have much power but I think that's just down to the beach location. We managed all the same.
It is in an ideal location as the playground is just across the road, and a short stroll from the beach, which is great for body boarding. There is a lovely 30 - 40 min walk over the cliffs to another quiet bay called Chapel Porth, where the cafe serves Hedgehog Icecream highly recommend. Lots of lovely areas to visit nearby such as St Agnes ( must try the pasties in St Agnes Bakery) Gwithian Bay just before St Ives is also a lovely beach. Eden Project was just about an hours drive away. There are a couple of bars in Porthtowan, and a nice cafe called the Beachside. There is also some good pubs that do meals nearby, the Victory Inn, Driftwood in St Agnes which also has a great fish n chip shop across the road. If we had to stay in Porthtowan again I'd wouldn't hesitate to book Sarah's Just Peachy apartment again.
