Excellent B&B in a restored period house. Friendly owner. Well fitted out, good bedrooms with en suite facilities including a kitchenette with cooker, microwave and fridge. Very good and ample English Breakfast.

Easily accessible for the whole Rame peninsular and in fact a good base for Plymouth and east Cornwall.

Room Tip: Probably front rooms have better views

We spent a long weekend at RAME BARTON for our grand daughters wedding and was quite pleased with this guest house. We were welcomed by Karen the owner who made us very welcome and showed us our rooms. The rooms were very spacious and at least one had its own kitchen and one had been made into a flat.
The breakfast was more than sufficient with cooked meals being typical of farmhouse standards,,fresh fruit was also on the menu
The price was good for the accommodation and meals provided and nothing was any trouble---ask and they supplied..

Room Tip: front room have glorious views over the country side

Two of us stayed at Rame Barton for two nights (Tues & Weds) to attend a wedding at nearby Polhawn Fort. Due to emergency maintenance at another local B&B we ended up at Rame Barton as a substitute booking. Karen could not have been more accomodating - she was incredibly helpful over the phone describing the various ferries you could get from Plymouth to nearby towns and on arrival had a choice of rooms available for us. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment which was very spacious, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. Location wise Rame Barton is very close the fort if you are staying for a wedding, good point to walk from, lots of parking and just a 5 minute drive into Kingsand and Cawsand. Karen was super helpful at all times and made us feel incredibly welcome - thank you so much!
