Perfect week in the sun. This hotel is perfect if youre looking for a relaxing vacation. Not too big, and not too small.

We stayed in the "residence building". Yes, its across the street. Yes the room was a little small....but really, how much time are you spending in your room? Our hot water worked, our safe worked. And we had a perfect view of the ocean.

Ocean is pretty well unswimable. So, we spent most of our days at the adult pool. Bartenders were great.

Buffet was hit and miss at dinner time. Sometimes a 15 min wait to get a table. A la catres were good. Mexican was a little meh, the rest were good. The asian is amazing. Please try it .

All the staff were amazing, and would go out of their way to make you happy. Vladimir was always smiling while serving you at the swim up bar. Omar was trying his best to satisfy every guest he seen.

Out of our week there, we really only had two complaints. People wake up super early to get "prime" seats around the pool. If you arent there by 8am, dont expect a spot for you and your family. Even though there are signs posted everywhere asking people not to park their stuff and leave. Nor reallt sure what time they are putting their stuff on the chairs, but when we walk by to go to the buffet for lunch, and their stuff looks untouched then there are issues.

The week we were there, they had some sort of convention show up. 100+ people from a company showed up....and took over. You couldn't walk anywhere on the resort withour running into a sworm of these people. They would show up to the adult pool in groups of 5+ people. Sit where they want, steal towels, disrespect anyone that talked to them. Same as the buffet, show up in groups, push into people, cut in line etc. I left the buffet without eating one night because I was too ticked off about being pushed and cut in front of. Our beach party that the staff told us about when we checked in (dj beach party on Wednesday), never happened because this group has the beach reserved?
The way they got treated, and the way the rest of the guests got treated while the group was there left a sour taste in my mouth. We paid good money to be there and got pushed aside because a group showed up

Would return to that area, not to this resort

We are a family of four traveling on spring break from March 24 to March 31, 2018. We were placed in a small corner room. The room safety box does not work so I called the front desk and had to wait for an hour to get it fixed; also, there were no remote control to watch the TV. We are not picky; therefore, the remote control is not a deal breaker.
It was hard to get new towels each day as we need to ensure that we tip each days in order to get new towels.
There were four water bottles from the mini fridge from our first day when we checked in. After the first day, our mini fridge were never re-fill; I had to go to the nearest bar to requested four water bottles each night before our bed time; it was like buying 4 water bottles each night as the bar guy gives me a “the look” when I didn’t tip.
The restaurant were excellent; Japanese, Italian and Mexican restaurants all has fabulous food!
There were the “WFG” group there for few days; therefore, this hotel were at its peak capacity; this hotel does not know how to handle well during peak eating time at full capacity; there were very long lineup for breakfast; food were running out and there are not service at all and spoon and fork were running out.

We absolutely loved our vacation at Krystal Grand and look forward to a return visit. Seems like there was something for everyone... lively pools for young families, busy activity pool kept hopping by Christian and Jose Luis, and relaxing pools just for adults. The restaurant servers could not possibly be friendlier or more helpful. Thank you, Naattaly Galicia, for all your advice and assistance.

If you are looking for an All Inclusive Resort during Spring Break that is not too expensive, VERY SAFE, WONDERFUL VIEW and not a place where the ENTERTAINMENT STAFF is ANNOYING to get you involved, THIS IS THE PLACE. The staff is ALWAYS CLEANING the hotel property from the bathrooms to the landscaping to the SIDEWALKS!!! A variety of restaurants to choose from. Just be prepared to be "PROACTIVE" to make reservations for each one. The BEST DINNER restaurant is the HIBACHI GRILL. They can run NECK and NECK with American version that everyone knows that starts with a "B". The view is absolutely BREATH TAKING and listening to the WAVES every night was great. The SUNRISE and the SUNSET each day was worth taking a photograph or time lapse video!!! The wait staff was very friendly, kind and sincere. If you want a good breakfast each morning, the Buffet hit the spot.

JESUS SANCHEZ (waiter for breakfast each morning at the buffet) ask to sit his HIS SERVING SECTION!!! This guy is TOP NOTCH and so warm and friendly. He goes OUT OF HIS WAY to make sure you and your family are receiving TOP SERVICE. He is very HUMBLE and remembers what each member of your family likes BEFORE YOU EVEN TAKE A SEAT!!! VERY PERSONABLE and this GUY SHOULD be PROMOTED to a MANAGER of the SERVERS because he is the IDEAL SERVER that all SERVERS should MODEL themselves AFTER!!! ONE OF A KIND and my family WILL BE BACK this YEAR!!!

We traveled to Krystal Grand Los Cabos from March 22, 2018 - March 29, 2018.
We are 25 and 29 and we went as a couple.
The resort overall is fantastic. Clean, beautiful and relaxing.
The food was great, especially the Asian restaurant. It was our favourite and we ended up going three times.

I have to say first and foremost that the employees were AMAZING. They work so, so hard to ensure that you are enjoying yourself and are satisfied. Each one that I observed was hard at work. They are extremely friendly and we did not have one bad interaction with any of the employees.

It winds down around 10:30 pm at night and there is no shows, no nightclub or nightly entertainment. There are three fire pits lit up every night where you can relax and there is a band in the lobby some evenings. We were OK with it being quite as we were there to relax and not party. If you are looking to party at night, you may have to go off the resort.

The one disappointment (but wasn't too big of a deal for us) was the room situation. After we had booked, I noticed a lot of negative reviews about the "residence rooms" not being what people were lead to believe online and that the boulevard would keep people awake. I was so nervous about this and didn't want to have a headache upon our arrival so I emailed the hotel directly about the room situation asking that we be placed on the main area of the resort. I got no response for the hotel so I emailed sunwing and the hotel manager directly. The hotel manager got back to me promptly and stated that they would try their best to place us on the main area of the resort.

Upon our arrival, the paper they had asked us to sign stated that we were placed in residence. I had notified the front desk that I had requested that we be placed on the main area of the resort. She then had an employee show us a "garden view" room. It was COMPLETELY different than what you see online. It reminded us of a low budget motel room.

We were obviously not happy with this and stated that we would even pay extra to be placed in a room that looks like the photos they had posted online. She said she had an ocean-view suite available and that it would be $50.00 USD extra a night (we stayed for 7 days, $350.00 USD in total). At this point we were tired and just wanted to get situated so we agreed and asked if they would accept $300.00 USD, which was roughly $384.00 CDN and she agreed. We talked to another couple and they had the exact same situation and they stated that they didn't have to pay extra and they were upgraded as a courtesy. I guess it all depends on who you get but I recommend upgrading to the ocean-view or do any upgrading through your travel agent or online. It will prevent headache upon arrival and I am sure it is a lot cheaper.

On the positive side of all that, the room was amazing and the view was incredible. We only vacation once in a while so the $300.00 USD for the room wasn't a big problem for us and in our opinion was worth it.

I would certainly vacation here again and have already recommended it to friends and family.
