On the pro side, Los Milagros is wonderfully located in the busy central part of Los Cabos. We were in easy walking distance of the marina, the luxury shopping mall and the many, many restaurants and vendors that line the streets. The rooms are clean but spartan with some having small kitchenettes and others not. We prefer a softer mattress/pillow but the beds were otherwise ok. We made good use of our room's mini fridge and were glad to have it for snacks purchased at the nearby supermarket. Fresh coffee is available in the charming central courtyard from about 6:30 a.m. daily. Bring your own shampoo though, this sort of amenity is not supplied with the room. The owner, Sandra, is very helpful with restaurant recommendations or general advice about where to go or shop and she works hard to see that her guests needs are met. The little pool seemed more suited to sitting on the edge with feet dangling in the water than for actual swimming as it is kind of short, however one of our friends did take a daily plunge (water is cool, not heated). The biggest plus is the central courtyard with the cooling effect of lovely foliage and thick courtyard walls. WiFi is available but connecting difficult in some of the rooms. We had to go out to the courtyard to connect. I would say that the downside of the hotel is the traffic noise and other outside noises which intrude into this otherwise peaceful setting. A local choir was practicing the Hallelujah Chorus loudly, very badly and constantly until late into the evening subjecting us all to every flat note.
We do plan to return and now know which rooms to request (102,103, 104) to best suit our needs.

Room Tip: Request a kitchenette and a room with a separate sitting if you plan to spend much time at the hotel.

I was looking for a little hotel in cabo proper without being in one of the resorts out of town. It was my first visit to cabo and didn't quite realize how lively the town was. It is definitely the place to be for a nite life. The unit I stayed in was the top unit 114 with the kitchen and the unit was great. The only problem is that if you are sensitive to noise the subwoofers from the clubs resonate into the room till about 4 am. For some people this will not be an issue, others, well.... Its very subtitle but still there. If you are in the lower units I suspect that it would be quieter. They also have a nice sitting area. I would definitely stay there again.

Charming little hotel near the heart of Cabo San Lucas. Its location is good and the small courtyard makes for an intimate setting. The rooms are clean and comfortable (air conditioner works well, ample hot water, comfortable beds.) However, my primary complaint was the complete lack of any amenities in the room in which I stayed. No shampoo. No room safe. No refrigerator. The total lack of frills made the hotel seem a little over-priced for simply a bed, a bathroom, and a television.

If you want to be close to the strip, but avoid the noise/odors of too much traffic, Los Milagros is the place for you. Very typically Mexican, with a delightful courtyard that attracts birds, and small, cozy rooms of varying sizes, Los Milagros will fit the bill for the budget-conscious traveller looking for some character. You'll love it!

Room Tip: Ask for special weekly rate.

If you are looking for a corporate, sterile, boring, cookie-cutter place, this is NOT where you want to go. If, on the other hand, you are looking for a sweet, centrally located, affordable place with a feel of a family summer house, Los Milagros is exactly the place for you. Living in Seattle, we wanted to go somewhere warm and sunny and asked our friends on Facebook for recommendation - a dear friend whose opinion we value said: "stop looking, you want to go to Los Milagros in Cabo". And so we did. Sandra is the most fabulous proprietor - she patiently answered number of my emails prior to our arrival, she put us in touch with Miguel, the driver who was waiting for us at the airport (offering complimentary cold beer from mini-cooler!) and was the most gracious hostess throughout our stay.
The place has number of units surrounding a pool area, but they have generally the same layout - a kitchenette with fridge and a stove and basic (meaning quite limited!) selection of pots and plates and cutlery. But it does come in handy, especially if you frequent the taco stand down the road which is DELICIOUS!
Then there is a simple bedroom with air-conditioning (very very welcome feature in Cabo) and bathroom. Nothing incredibly fancy - but really, what more do you need? The bed was comfortable, the rooms were clean and well maintained and there was nothing that I would think was missing.
Coffee and tea is provided every morning - if you are not already on your way to the beach or a proper breakfast place.
I could go on and on about Los Milagros. I want to go back and I hope that I will soon.

Room Tip: People tend to hang out in the courtyard by the pool - if you want privacy and quiet, ask for rooms in the upper level.
