We have been to SM several times, but this was the first time we stayed at Las Casitas Bonitas. We stayed in unit 1 on the first floor. Everything was great! The staff very helpful if you needed them. We didn't have any problems with the apt. The weather was great and really enjoyed spending Dia de los Muertos festivities all week long. Will recommend this place and will certainly rent again in our favorite place, SM
We loved our stay in our casita rental. We could walk to City Center without having to negotiate the regional hills. The major city market was within a few blocks making shopping for fresh fruits and vegetables easy to take back to our rental to cook up in our full kitchen. Great place to spend any length of time.
Everything is beautiful! Convenient, and very safe location just steps away from the artisan market entry. Short walk to Martins for the best breakfast and coffee in town. Across the street is a little market, say Hola to Maria and Antonio, if they don't have what you need they will get it for you, all the food stuff for fixing your meals or a midnight snack.
Jackie is lovely very talented artist, she will help you with anything. This time she even had fresh ground coffee for me. Washer and dryer is a real plus. Clean fresh linens, extra towels and blankets. Wi-Fi that is very reliable. It is like coming home. If you visit San Miguel de Allende and want to experience the very best look no further.
Really nice one bedroom, living area and bathroom. Decorated really cute....very clean. Most importantly the location was wonderful.

We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Casita 1. It's tastefully decorated interior welcomed us "home" after full days of sightseeing. The interior garden was small but sweet, and the sound of water spilling out of the fountain was a soothing balm to the Semana Santa fireworks! We also loved the location -- close to centro and not uphill -- and in a neighborhood where both Mexicans and expats live. I would stay there again in a heartbeat, and next time hope to book the whole place with extended family.
