Julieta met me at 2pm as planned and we spent a very pleasant and informative 90 mins talking wine, organic winemaking, food, culture, etc. I bought a couple of bottles - a medium-bodied red blend from the Dos Bujos' first year of winemaking, and a delicious dessert wine. I drove through the fields and saw the vines in their first stages of development. I look forward to returning in a few months to see them again just before harvest, and to continue following the progress of this promising small vineyard.

Thank Timothy H

Last week, based on reviews in TripAdvisor, we booked a tour and wine tasting at this winery. We were met by Julieta, who appears to be their tour director. She was most personable and fluent in English. For a small extra fee we enjoyed a pleasant picnic lunch (with an excellent quiche and green salad) while tasting the wines after the tour. Total cost for 2 persons for the tour, tasting, and picnic (3 courses) was 1300 pesos. Their 2014 rose was one of the best rose wines we have ever had, similar to a French rose, and we generally do not care for rose wines. Also outstanding was the 2014 cabernet; still young but tasting well. Julieta left each bottle for further tasting, so we had a generous amount of wine with our lunch.

They have hired an American winemaker, a graduate of the renowned winemaking school at University of California- Davis, to supervise their production, beginning in 2014, and her expertise really shines. Do not mistake this winery for something in Napa Valley. It is small and very rustic but good things are happening here.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. The owners’ focus on quality not quantity and the organic process was appreciated. We had a private tour for 3 with a lovely picnic paired with the wines. Reservations a must.

I agree with previous review. Extremely disorganized, guide pores 2 small glasses of wine then was on her phone. No service

Get a staff that caters to guest and please more wine with a longer tour.

I am really sorry to hear about your review, I would only like to comment that sometimes when we have a lot of people, our staff is not enough to give the best service to all of our clientes. We are still a small winery and sometimes we have more clients that we can, specially because even if we always say that we only receive people by appointment only, we never deny a client who is in the main entrance and we need to organize in a "last minute" way. About the short tour and the 2 small glasses of wine, if you remember the name of your guide I will be pleased to talk to her because first of all, our tour normally takes between 45min and 1h and about the tasting, is 3 wines and if you want more, for a different price, we also offer a 5 wine tasting.
We hope that this bad souvenir won't avoid for you to come back and have a new experience with us.
Thank you for your comments that will help us to improve the quality of our services !

As we left San Miguel de Allende we stopped into this lovely vineyard. They provided light fresh snacks and a tasting along with a very educational tour.
We had young children in our group who they accommodated without issue.
It was a beautiful way to end our holiday.
