Interesting, when you from another continent, to view different foods, or different presentation of foods in another country. Fruits, vegetables, flowers and meats ... all sold here, from local producers.
Most foods, always the same as home, however, the prickly pear cactus and fruit, habanero .. a rarity, but, common place here!
Only problem, the vendors are not keen on photos been taken!

There are a few weekend markets and daily food markets, but this was the best. Long ambling undercover "street" with lots of crafts, produce and herbal remedies. There was a wide variety of artisans, it was not the same crafts over and over again. And prices were great, better than in the stores and markets in the center of town.

This market is a great place to buy cheap and locally made souvenirs. You can choose from silver jewelry to indigenous souvenirs. Furthermore, you can taste here many different dishes and juices, same as vuy fresh fruits and other ingredients for your cooking.

I by far enjoyed shopping here! Great place to get something for everyone. Make sure you allow for at least a couple of hours to shop here.

A long, narrow shopping alley is home to the prolific handcrafts of Mexico. This market ends into the food, housewares, clothing and flower market. You may have Mexican accents for your home, but you'll surely find something else. For me it was an unusual, skirt twisting dancer in Talavera pottery, and a large chrome heart niche box for the wall. Love just to look and photograph the color. There are even restrooms clean for a few cent donation.
