“Delightful cottage and location”
Reviewed 16 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

This lovely cottage is situated in an ideal location to explore the North Yorkshire moors. It is well equipped and has the little extra's, like wi-fi and local maps, that make a difference. Highly recommend this cottage to anyone who can cope with steep stairs.

“Perfect cottage, beautifully presented in a lovely location.”
Reviewed 16 August 2013 for a stay in July 2013

Second time we have stayed here.Just as lovely as we remembered, lots of character and very pretty. This time we took our two young grandchildren with us. Our grandaughter called it a Hansel and Gretel cottage and wants to live there when she grows up! The village is lovely and there is lots of walking from the door, also a good location for visiting the moors and the coast. The cottage is beautifully presented with lots of thoughtful touches and a lovely garden. Will definitely go back!

“A cottage of character in an idyllic village.”
Reviewed 3 July 2013 for a stay in June 2013

A lovely little cottage, full of character and extremely well appointed. The village is wonderfully quiet and serene with a pub just round the corner that does excellent food. Extremely well situated on the edge of the moors. I cannot think of any way that it could be improved.

“Cosy cottage”
Reviewed 18 June 2013 for a stay in June 2013

This cottage was very cosy and welcoming as well as tastefully furnished and decorated. Lots of nice touches like welcome pack on arrival and fresh flowers. The cottage itself has lots of character with beams and little nooks and crannies. Nice garden with sunny seating area which we didn't get to sample much due to weather. Heating was on ready when we arrived and the fire was already built. Claire was a very welcoming host. There's a pub within a stone's throw with really good food. All in a very good cottage.
