Lovely place. Has lots to offer and staff are great. Huge place. Plenty to do in the area if your keen on bush walks and nature. Nice Lookouts and coffee never too far away for a more chilled weekend.

Just returned from two nights at Binna Burra and feel so refreshed and relaxed.

The drive there was hairy with the mist setting in; visibility was quite poor in some areas, but arriving at our destination made this worthwhile.

Check in was a breeze. The Acacia Room 22 was comfortable and warm. We were a little naughty and used our phones and IPad. Their brekky and dinner buffet is sumptuous with a variety of food.

Inari our guide on the 5km walk was a wealth of information.

I loved the peace, quiet and the mist setting in early evening was magical.

A weekend spent at Binna Burra is time spent recovering the inner energy needed to get you through the busy year. We spent 3 nights at the Lodge in the ensuite units. The accommodation was great as the rooms were very clean and the view from the window was into the forest. The highlight was the wildlife as ther visited our view regularly. everything from the local bird life and scrub turkeys to the king parrots and paddy melons. The lodge offers much to the bushwalker as the comfortable oasis after daily activity.
The National Park is the hero of the stay with many good walks through so one can enjoy the flora and fauna of the boarder ranges. We did about 20km each day and it was challenging but much shorter walks are available with equally good scenic views on offer.
The meals are tasty and wholesome and are served in the dinning room in a way that evokes the community spirit of the pioneer bush walkers of old. Everyone has to be seated by the allotted time for the serving of the soup and the main meal is a delicious buffet serve by the staff. Sharing table space with other is encouraged and taking over the meal leads to a noisy dinning room which is really great.
The Lodge offers many activities during the day and into the evening so there is no need to be board. A good book by the fire in the library or in the main lodge is ok too.

We slept in a safari tent, with plenty of room for 3 people. We took our own food. There
is one light in the tent, would be good to have one power point as well.
The showers were clean and nice and hot. The beds were not very comfortable, as the mattresses were lumpy. The staff were very friendly. We really enjoyed yoga on the Sunday morning. We will definitely return.

Room tip: safari tent very basic but economical
