Last minute dinner at La Trattori Degli Amici. This is very much a seafood specialist which I am not normally a fan of, though my wife loves it. The service was attentive, engaging and humorous and the food, both seafood and land based carne was excellent in terms of both plating and flavour. I enjoyed my wife's Tajarin vongole (Piedmontese pasta with clams) very much. The staff know the food and wine selection intimately and are happy to answer questions for tourists. Finished the meal with some delicious desserts ( gelato and tiramisu). All in all an extremely pleasant and enjoyable dining experience.
