Tacos, ceviches, tostadas all were fresh, great and delicious! The cocktails were also good (and strong). Really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant, the staff was friendly and helpful! Recommend this place for dinner and drinks! It was one of the best meal we have had in Tulum

My wife and I stopped by Safari on our recent vacation in Tulum. If you want fresh, delicious tacos, don't miss out on Safari. Super friendly staff, laid back environment. The variety of fish tacos we ordered were so good, but we actually couldn't deny the fact that the ceviche they had on the menu was ridiculous - so so good. The flavors going on there were out of this world. Wish I could eat there every week! Good job guys!

There are many places on Tulum beach that "get the job done" with dependable food in pleasant surroundings. But few, if any, rise to the occasion in the same way as Safari. This unassuming spot, on the jungle side of one of the quieter stretches of the coastal road, is easily missed if one looks for the more manicured hangouts near the posh hotels. But please don't miss it! Here they have, frankly, the best margaritas and piña coladas I have experienced both within and outside of Mexico, and they have a handful of more creative cocktails too, also very successful. As for the food, it is cooked on charcoals outside, and in a caravan converted into kitchen in the yard. Small menu, highly appetizing tacos (shrimp with mole verde is brilliant), an extraordinary ceviche, along with several specialties suitable for vegetarians, and a single dessert--chocolate tamal--which in itself is worth the journey. A truly gourmet experiene. The staff are relaxed, friendly, and not at all pushy when it comes to taking your orders; they are genuinely warm and keen to make you feel at home. The music is chosed carefully and played at a volume that grants a festive atmosphere while not impeding conversation. All in all, life doesn't get any better on Tulum beach, and this is one of the few places to which I'd return over and over without getting bored or tired.

Killer food. I can say the pork, fish, and octopus tacos were amazing. Yucu fries with the sauce were great as well. Can't go wrong here. We ended up going back the next night. Was dreaming of pork tacos all night

You might miss this place, tucked into the jungle and off the beach, but do yourself a favor and find it. They have a small menu and do everything well. Some of the best al pastor tacos in town and the grilled octopus taco is incredible! Everything they make looks ready for a photo shoot and tastes awesome.
