After four years of living full time in Playa, I’ve finally found a great steak house. We’ve dinned many times at Harry’s, Sur, Plank just to name a few and never had a better, more flavorful and tender steak. Wish we had found it sooner because the price was much better than the competition at $280 pesos per. The petite roasted veggies were moist and full of flavor, no sides required. Really good cappuccino and chocolate mousse with berries topped it off. The quiet atmosphere was so welcomed in a town were playing loud music in a dinning area is the norm. We were serenaded tableside by acoustic guitar and violin and could actually have a conversation. The service was professional and excellent. The only flaw was a dry gin martini that had absolutely no flavor of gin, where’s the gin? I had a nice chat with the chef and she explained why her steaks were so amazing, her source and she never uses frozen meat. Whatever she’s doing, I hope she keeps it up. I’ll be back soon.
