Great getaway from "prose of life".
Not easy to find, but once you there you will not be disappointed.
Small intimate restaurant does "magic". Food is delicious! If you like seafood or wood fired home made pizza, than you are in good hands.
Cabanas are just what we were looking for: Simple, cozy, perfectly blending with local vibe and authenticity.
Big Thank you to Silvia, Helmut and rest of the crew for your hospitality.
Hope to see you next year!

While celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends at Royal Hacienda Resort, we took a stroll along the beach [north] to find this lovely spot.
Boutique hotel [6 rooms] and marvelous restaurant with fabulous fish and - wood fired oven pizza!
The staff is small, as is the restaurant, but our every need was seen to, the owner, Stella, is absolutely delightful [she drove us back to resort herself and will send a car if you call ahead to pick you up].
Dinner was amazing and what a bargain for the price. Carlos is a doll!
We did not stay at the hotel but would another time

We enjoyed our stay here at Coco's. The staff were very friendly, especially Marcos (Diego says hola!) We got our own "coconut" room, very spacious with own bathroom. The outdoors is very relaxing, feels like you're in a jungle (we even saw monkeys). The pool is nice too, with hammocks and loungers to chill out. Restaurant onsite, we ate dinner both nights - delicious. Nice cocktails too. Marcos made me a piña colada inside a freshly picked coconut that I chose off their trees. It's a bit far from the centre of Playa del Carmen, but great for a relaxing couple of days and even more accessible if you had a car. They also have a cute dog!

My wife and I are so glad we tried out Coco's. Such a cozy and romantic place. Great restaurant, great staff, great pool and wonderful atmosphere. A short stroll to an outstanding beach location. We will certainly be back soon.
