Stopped in here after everyone raved about how great the gluten free pizza was.... Disappointed, there are several places in the us who rock the gluten free pizza world, you just have to find them. This was ok. I guess if you are in Mexico really craving pizza and you are gluten free it's worth the stop. No surcharge for the gluten free crust which was nice. Had a dirty monkey that was probably the highlight of the stop. Then shared another dirty monkey that was made as a double batch. It was not as good. We did get a free order of garlic knots which was interesting since they were not gluten free.

Stopped here to grab a bite after imbibing at the Soggy Peso, probably needed it! We were seated at one of the unique hi-top tables along the road. The service was quick although our waiter seemed fairly distracted. We decided on a pizza for something different than what we had been eating during our trip. I know, eating a pizza in Isla probably sounds strange but it was a good choice. We had the basil and tomato pizza on the NY style crust. The crust was cooked to perfection and all of the ingredients were fresh. You could taste the sweetness in the basil and the roasting of the tomatoes really brought out the flavor. Unfortunately the pizza was too big for just the two of us and we had to leave about half because we didn't have a place to store it. A quick tip, if you order a pizza, you get four garlic knots with it and they are the bomb!

We were on Isla for 8 nights and ate at Oscar's twice. We love the pizza and the garlic knots from here; however, a person in our party got the lasagna and they said it was the best they had ever eaten. Next time I am on the island, I will try that too. We get take out, its so easy after a long day and last stop at the Soggy peso.
We all loved Oscar's.
