What a lovely hotel.....great views...large room, friendly staff., yummy breakfast! We didn't do the all inclusive because we wanted to eat dinners in town...there are so many great restaurants...but we heard that the hotel had great restaurants as well. We were visiting relatives and they have their favorite spots to take us to....

We just returned from Isla Mujeres-- it was our first time on the island. We stayed at Privilege because of the reviews and the location. We had a blast! The location can not be beat and the beach is fabulous. The hotel staff made us feel comfortable the moment we walked through the door. The room, the view, the amenities, the pool, the beach, the breakfast (LOVED Ismael and Ponce!), the music in the evening--- what a great visit to a wonderful and welcoming island. We did do the all inclusive but ended up eating many dinners on Hildalgo Street --- so many options, so little time! We also scouted out a few lesser known restaurants and had some amazing meals. It is a good idea to rent a golf cart to explore the island, at least for a day. We stumbled on a small women's cooperative where we found 6 women beading around a table. Yes, purchases were made-- with all the proceeds going to the women artists and their community. We really had a great time and we are already planning our next trip. We will stay at Privilege again.

Room Tip: We kept our window and sliding door open so we awoke each morning to barking dogs and roosters. We w...

My husband and I stayed for the second time at the Privilege Aluxes. We both loved our time away with great service at each of the restraunts, the endless choices of fabulous menu's. Cafe del More the beach restraunt was great at lunch and romantic at night. The live bands each night very nice. Sabor had wonderful breakfast buffet and each night a different theme menu...it was delicious. Staff was helpful. The Hotel has picture perfect views and the location is the best on the island. We plan to come back next time with kids and grandkids.

This was our second time to this beautiful resort and the experience was as great this time as the first. The staff is very friendly and always wants to make your stay special. Pedro at the desk gave us a room with a beautiful view, Jamie at the pool bar makes the best mojitos and Jorge at the beach bar are just a few who made our stay a great experience. The service and food were excellent, the only thing I did not like is signing for all food and drink, even though we were all inclusive guests. If you want a quiet relaxing vacation this is the place. If you are looking for the clubs and parties late into the night, I would stay in Cancun. We spent a day exploring the island on a golf cart and did some window shopping in town. The location is perfert. On the best beach on the island and only 3 blocks to the center of town.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the pool have a great ocean view

We went to Isla Mujeres with friends to ring in the 2012 New Year. What a great location and hotel. Service was great, and we loved the beach. I can't comment on the food other than breakfast (which was great for what it is) but you can't beat the location on the island or the staff. Perfect.

Room Tip: If you care about a view, make sure to mention it when you book - but we were facing the back/cemete...
