Very remote but worth the drive! We spent a whole afternoon here and took the boat tour of the lagoon. We got to see many crocs and birds on the tour. Guides were a lot of fun and very informative.

Punta Sur (South Tip) was our favorite of the many beaches we visited during our week-long stay on Cozumel. The reef is a ways from shore, but worth the swim. Surrounded by colorful fish, we saw squid, a sea turtle, swam through a mesmerizing school of flashing silver fish and were followed by a large (and very toothy) baracuda! We followed up our swim with sun and lunch on the beach before heading back for more underwater adventure.

If you're looking for some above the surface nature, you'll find that here, too. Take a walk on the nature trails to see a variety of birds and critters — from the little green Cozumel emerald hummingbird to coatis, a variety of iguanas and even some smiling crocodiles.

Punta Sur will definitely be tops on our list of "things to do" the next time we visit beautiful Cozumel!

A group of us visited while on vacation in Cozumel. We got in early and had great beach seats. The snorkeling was great and the reefs go on forever! Lots of fish, many different species. Food was ok for the beach. Great overall value for the price.

The views from this part are amazing. Great photo opportunities. The entrance price of $14 a person seems a little steep. WE climbed the lighthouse, which should come with a warning of the very narrow stairwell. Trying to pass others going up and down can be a very tight squeeze and sometimes impossible. All and all the sites were great. Not sure we will ever stop here again, just do to the price, but worth seeing once.

Something for everyone, clean, well managed, nature, Mayan ruin, 19th century history, food, and a must see, beautiful view from the light house.
