I love the jeep tour we do this every time we go. Pancho is a friendly, great tour guide. Very nice way to see other things to do in cozemul. Just bring some sunblock.

First off - when you leave the port, you need to head straight across the street to the white building with "Welcome Center" written in blue on the front. This is directly in front of where the thatch roofed entry/exit way is and where the taxis are located. Do not be deterred by others offering tours, just wait for your guide.

Now with that out of the way, this tour was amazing! Seeing how tequila is made was interesting. Seeing the real "off the beaten path" neighborhoods was a welcomed addition. The lighthouse and beaches on the other side of the island were every bit of paradise we had hoped for.

If you are lucky enough to get Pancho as your tour guide - lucky you. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and very accommodating. I honestly cannot say there were any negatives, this was an incredible tour with an amazing guide. Book with confidence if you are wondering about this tour. It is more than worth it!

This was a great fun filled day and our tour guide Pancho was fantastic and made it super enjoyable. We started with an Tequila factory tour which was informative and you could buy local organic blue agava tequila. The parrots there are amazing and you can have your picture taken with them for tips. A lovely lady made tacos on a brick oven - yum. Then off to the other side of the island where there are beautiful beaches and you can shop at a small local shop for coral jewelry. Puntu Sur Lighthouse views were amazing as well. The highlight was snorkeling and our guide was so helpful pointing out the horseshoe crabs and lobster and sea flowers. Bizarre they open and close to the touch! A nice Mexican lunch awaited at Varando and our hosts were so hospitable. We didn't want the day to end....definitely recommend this tour. Pancho is the best!

We had a great time on the tour. Santiago and Ricardo were our guides and did a great job! This is a great tour to take if you want to see the Island and the parks.

This a fun filled excursion that takes you around the island in one day. Take walking shoes, swim suit, extra clothes, sun protection, a camera, extra cash to purchase some of the many wonderful items you see on the way, and get ready to enjoy a great day. This tour is an all day event. First we snorkeled for an hour, and got to see lots of different marine life. The tour guide showed us many hidden places, on the ocean floor, that enabled us to see many interesting things that you would not do yourself.
Than we were off to Punta Sur to see the magnificat point of the Island, and the Lighthouse. Very informative tour, and there are some shops to visit for that interesting gift. The real black coral is beautiful, which is shaped into many jeweler items to choose from.
Next we all traveled to a very good Mexican buffet lunch on a wonderful sandy beach. The road is very bumpy, made just for the jeep your driving through the jungle. Very fun vehicle to drive.
We continued on to the Mayan Ruins for a very informative tour concerning how they lived, customs, beliefs , and the fate of the mayan people. Very interesting part of the tour. There are some more lovely items, to purchase, in the shops at this location.
Our last stop was at a Tequila Factory where we learned the facts on what it takes to make real tequila. After that of course you get to sample the many wonderful products that are produced there, and you can purchase the products also.
Over all this is a must tour to go on, and is made much better by the wonderful tour guides, that go out of their way to both inform, enlighten, and meet your every need.
I want to thank Zoi, and Nacho for a wonderful fun filled day that they provided for us.
They are the best.
