This local place is outside the tourist zone but one of our favourites. We always eat here at least twice on our visits to Cozumel. It is a big, open, but covered restaurant with thatched roof. It is known for it's pizzas which we will try one day but, we love the tacos so much, as well as the tortas which are amazingly fresh buns, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, filled with your choice. We usually get the pastur which is the pork, carved fresh. We have tried the fish tacos and the steak but always come back to the pastur. The service is fast, the place is clean and the food amazing and very inexpensive. We usually have a couple of tacos each, and share a torta, with a couple or beers, and leave full but not stuffed for approx $12 U.S. Total including tip.
We will be trying their pizza on our next visit. The restaurant is only open for dinner and takes cash only.
