Came here with our Dive Master Aries for dinner one night and loved it! the tortas are amazing and heating them in the brick oven adds the final touch. we ended up coming back here on our last night on the island to enjoy it one last time. the Pastor and Arrachera tortas are the best! cant miss one of the quesadillas as well with the fresh tortilla stuffed with meat of your choice.

We ordered a little of everything. Went back for the 10 taco special, ordered pizza and the pineapple juice.

The food was so tasty, and unique, that I ate there 4 days in a row after a friend had me try it! Almost everyone I've taken wants to eat there again the next night! Brick oven really makes their menu truly unique and special. Service is is always on point, fast, and friendly! Pound-for-pound one of my favorite places to eat out (or order in from Room Service)! Eat there at least once a week....

Fantastic food, fast friendly service and cheap!! We made a point of eating well off the waterfront to get away from the "tourist" restaurants and eat local. We found la Jarocha while driving around and returned several times. It was our favourite. You've gotta try anything with pastor (shaved rotisserie pork); my favourite was the quesadilla. The pizza is fantastic and baked in a stone oven. I also suggest the fermented pineapple drink "tepache natural de pina".

Javier, the owner, is very friendly and a very good cook. Prices are very fair. We've had many diners there and enjoyed all of them very much.
Maybe because of the Easter week-end, we never knew when it was opened: we ended up trying to go there when it was closed at least twice. Also, he seemed to have staff issues and not everything on the menu was available everyday.
The overall experience was very good and we will definitely go again next time.
