This was part of a tour group. It is a very small village with a historic church and another newer. Small shops that you can bargain with them. We also visited a "Tequileria" where we learned about the process of making tequila. We got to try a few samples of the different types/flavors of tequila. If you like tequila then this stop is for you.

Coming off the Carnival Paradise, we rented a car and ventured off on our own. We saw the signs and decided to follow. It's not far off the road but to the less adventurous type, it could be a little intimidating! Nice little area with friendly locals (that try to sell you things and bargain with you)! We enjoyed the cathedral and took pictures with the guy dressed as a historic Mayan! Would definitely visit again!

We came here as part of a tour of Cozumel and were disappointed. There is a man in costume who will let you take a photo of him or be in it with him for money. The "ruins consist of a a building you may not enter and a little church. That's it. Save your money and go to a real ruins - Tulum or Chitzen Itza.
