Spent 6 glorious days at this "all-inclusive" resort. Upon arrival, you are immediately welcomed with a wonderful refreshing juice drink and the women are given a flower. We stayed in a 3rd floor junior suite with a patio and gorgeous ocean view. The room was large and spacious, with a private jacuzzi tub in the room. The bed was probably the most comfortable I have ever slept on...including my own bed at home! We utilized most of the services there. The $1500 room credit allowed us to indulge in some wonderful onsite massage and facial services. We also had some great pictures taken by their photography studio. There is a a "Swim with the Dolphins" location right next door and your credit can be used there as well. That was a lot of fun. We also took advantage of some of the diving, snorkeling and tours connected with the hotel. All the restaurants on location are divine and the drinks are top shelf. Loved the pool and the evening entertainment. We happened to be there over New Year's Eve and they provided a four star experience on that special night. It was my first "all inclusive" experience and I can't WAIT to return!!!

Room Tip: Request a room on the second floor or above.

Upon arriving, and after spending $6000 for our room, we were told of our $2000 credit we could only use $125 of it for the diving services, this after being told over the phone before hand, that we could use all of our credit for diving if we wished. To add to the insult we were offered an additional $125 for diving if we sat through a 3 hour time share presentation, sheesh! This is a 5 star resort! We found an excellent alternative up the road where we spent the rest of our visit being treated like kings. CP you lost two good paying customers and we will tell our friends of our experience.

When we joined palace premier many years ago, one of the selling features we thought we would never use, was the wedding package complete with a planner. Then one day our niece told us she really wanted a beach wedding. So, we gave her a beautiful wedding with almost no extra charge other than our all inclusive package! This was not only a beautiful sun set wedding spot, but all of the twenty something's had a blast snorkelling, scuba diving, and playing water volley ball in the pool. At night we got together in the different restaurants and no worries about who paid the bill. We also took the ferry over to Playa, rented a van and showed them the strip in Cancun spending the day at the very active Cancun Palace. This was a wonderful resort for the perfect memory of a special union. And you can not beat the price anywhere! Now Palace offers 1500 in Palace money to use in the spa, salon, or for upgrades. Feel free to contact me for hints to make this a special vacation no matter the occasion !

Room Tip: All water front rooms have great views

This was our first time to Cozumel and we had stayed 4 days at Playa Azul ( we were doing the all inclusive golf while at Playa Azul ) and we could not wait to arrive at the Palace for another 6 days.
Upon arrival we were immediately welcomed with a drink and they also provided my wife with a flower. We recieved our room and were very impressed upon entering. Very clean, modern with everything you need and then some. Very comfortable king size bed with great views off of the 3rd floor balcony. We got set up in our room then went for our little talk......I immediately told him we were not interested in the presentation and that was it. Plain and simple with no pressure whatsoever.
The service was exceptional to say the least - - - definatley the best all-inclusive we have ever been to while travelling. All employees were friendly and could not do enough for you. We were also very impressed with the quality of food at the restaurants. Very , very good and you never have to reserve anything !!!
Although the place has no beach we did not miss it at all - always easy to get a chair and did some snorkelling right off the stairs a few days.
All restaurants are al'a carte other than the them night they do each evening on the pool deck with is buffet style. The first night we ate at the Oriental - The ONLY thing I did not like was the appetizer they brought which was a couple of sushi rolls - I am just simply not a fan. The main course was excellent though.
The second night we chose the outdoor grill which was good --- has everything as usual that you would expect to choose from.
The third night we tried the Italian ( the only place where men have a dress code ) The food was excellent to say the least. No complaints whatsoever. I also must say that all the restaurants have extensive selections to choose from which was very nice.
We then used some of our credits for the Romantic Dinner - I must say this was the least impressive of all our meals whereas we expected it to be the opposite. The meal itself was just average and the service was not as good as the restaurants ???? Not a bid deal as we had to use up some the credits but definately not what we expected.
We then tried the Mexican which was fabulous ( the grouper was fantastic ) and went back to the Mexican again as we enjoyed it so much. We were going to go back to the Italian but thought that while in Mexico eat Mexican.
Breakfasts were excellent always and we also ordered room service one morning which was very quick to be delivered.
The size of this place was perfect........it never seemed to be busy. It was relaxing sitting on the balcony in the morning watching the cruise ships come in or sitting early in the evening watching them depart.
The last few years we have been getting away from all - inclusives but this might bring us back. In saying that, Palace Resorts are not cheap if you start comparing to other all-inclusives but if there other resorts are all like this it's nice to know that you will get what you pay for and don't have to worry about your trip prior to arrival.
Myself and my wife also used the spa and had a couple of massages which were very good also.
I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. We really enjoyed our stay - outstanding facility with beautiful rooms. What a great way to end our vacation !!

Just got back from 5 days a Cozumel Palace. The first room they put us in was a junior suite on the first floor. It was a nice enough room, but it was loud and it didn't have a patio or the nice view. We were moved to the third floor which was much better. In my opinion, those first floor rooms should not be categorized the same as the upper floor junior suites.

The service was top notch. The servers go above and beyond to get you what you want. Brenda, Ronny, and Rene provided very good service. The buffet hostess, Julietta, is very sweet. And Angel and Roger at the pool bar, also did a great job.

The food at Cozumel Palace was wonderful. The only disappointing meal of the entire trip was the "romantic dinner", that we had the pay 350 resort credits to purchase. The steak and lobster were both overcooked. I wished we had used those credits elsewhere. We had wonderful meals at all the other restaurants, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at the buffet.

The Cozumel Palace was a very nice, small resort. My husband and I enjoyed our time there. I did see families there, but I think our kids would prefer a bigger resort with a little more going on.
