Super Friendly Staff
Hotel quality is what you would expect for the price
Walking distance from the town
Bed/decor/bedding/carpet pretty dated and worn out
Great place for younger travelers used to staying in hostels and not looking for a resort/fancy feel.

We chose this one because so many others said the noise in the center was terrible at night. As we were traveling with small children, we needed some sleep. There was still noise at night but not too much. The rooms were average. There was a fan and a screen on the one tiny window and we did have a view of the city from our balcony. There was on site parkng and a small pool. It wasn't the cleanest, but the kids still went in. The food was OK, however we did go to the center the next day for a delicious breakfast at La Flor de la Vida. Not sure if we would go back.

Room Tip: Room 302 had two queens and a twin and had a good view.

I chose this hotel based on other Tripadvisor recommendations. In truth, it wasn't brilliant. The room was a bit grubby although very spacious. The common toilet was filthy. However, it is hard to complain when a double-room is just over 500 pesos. Moreover, the staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel is well located, just a short walk from the main places of interest. Don't expect a high quality hotel if you book here, but if you are on a tight budget it is perfectly acceptable.
