This is a place that everybody in Mexico City needs to visit at least once... traditional yet unassuming seafood, located close to important landmarks downtown... has been there for ages, and many famous people and politicians can be seen there during the week... food is mostly ok, but you are visiting an historic landmark, that alone is worth the trip

Good and interesting to go there.
Very Good fish and seafood in a place where the famous go.
They have all the walls full of dedications.
It is not far from the Zócalo.
Nice service.

Buen pescado y mariscos.

Thank Fanjoya

Traditional Mexican restaurant, with traditional menu and decoration. We got there early, around 13:30 and were promptly attended. But the food was ok, well done but nothing surprising. Salad was very basic (lettuce, potatoes, tomatoes, carrots) and it looked like was in the refrigerator from the last day. Gigante shrimps (as offered in the menu) was regular size and nothing was special about them. The green fish soup was good, well done. But the overall experience was unimpressive and didn't compensate for the price charged.

I guess that this is one of the very best restaurants in Mexico City with the best quality in service and food. It has been in business for more than 80 years, which proves the quality of the place. Fresh seafood and varied menu with an acceptable wine list. You must reach at 1 pm at the latest to ensure immediate seating; otherwise, you can wait for almost an hour before you get your table. This place is one of the most traditional restaurants in the city. Worldwide top quality! Make sure you get a table at Planta Baja (Street Level)!

This place is really good, the seafood is fresh and the ambiance is relaxed.
It has been there for years and will stay for many more.
