“Very nice”
Reviewed 5 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

The accomodations were adequate and comfortable. Bruce and the guys were attentive and quick to respond to our needs. The only improvement would be to install ac in the rooms. The windows and floor fans are not enough to cool the place.

We had a very good visit.

“Wonderful Service, Beautiful Complex”
Reviewed 26 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Our stay at Alameda was wonderful. Right away, Bruce and his team helped us get acquainted with the complex and the neighborhood. And when we needed anything during our stay, they were only a phone call away, on a cell phone that they provided. The complex was beautiful! We used the pool (bring swim caps, or use the one they have in the apartment), the outdoor rooftop track, the gorgeous common areas, and play structure for the kids. The people that live their are friendly. We even met someone from our hometown in Minnesota, who was very helpful!. It was also a great location, with lots of great restaurants and sights within walking distance. We will be staying here on our next visit to Mexico City!

“Wonderful modern, spacious, clean condo in Centro! Awesome!”

Apartment is lovely and in an amazing location!! For those 2 reasons alone, stay here

It is located a block from the SouthWest corner of Parque Alameda, well under 10 minutes to Bellas Artes and about. 15-20 minute walk to the Zocalo. Juarez metro stop a 1 1/2 block away as is a small market (larger chedraui, like a wal-mart is about a 15 minute walk away). 7-11 and other convenience stores abound and lots of restaurants. The Alameda shipping center is quite small, mostly fast food stores, a GNC a few other things. Cineplex Movie theater and Hildago metro stop about 5 minutes walk. Two other metro stops a but further but not far away, are forma Ave starts about 2 blocks away. All to say very Centro! Great, awesome location

Building: 2 different street entrances. Doorman (lots) but you need your card key to come and go, they will not open the door in that respect for you. Bit of a mousetrap the ground lobby level..turns and twists abound. Lots of common areas including the inner courtyard and always impeccably clean. A good gym, 3 lane always warm lap pool and outdoor running track. Very impressed with this ...used the pool every day. Bring you own cap and googles! Throw your trash in the bin which is a bit hard to find. Launderers connected to the building in lobby so you don't even have to go outside, thought expensive but then not sure if prices in and for the convenience, can't complain. If you have your clothes to the before 12Noon will have done by end of day (close at 8pm)

Apartment: was in the 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom on the 4th floor. Lovely space, mourn furnishings, well socked kitchen with microwave, fridge, blender and coffee maker. Breakfast bar, dining table, couch and seat and then a separate desk!!! Surprised at the space! TV and DVD player, which I never turned on. Fans in each if the bedrooms. Windows don't have screens, so not great for the Mosquitos at night but not bad and can hear the traffic outside, but closing the window helps. Strong wifi. Big, fluffy towels! Hot water with real water pressure! Master bedroom with a private bath and closet with safe. 2nd bedroom naturally is smaller but still with a closet and is fine. With the full 2nd bathroom in the common area. Wish had night lights in bedrooms, whose overhear lights were too dim for me. Soap provided, bring all your own toiletries. Confirm your day in which towels and bedsheets are changed, to be done weekly.

Building is all local Mexicans, as it scared large condo, didn't often run into other tourists, Wishing there were more of a cheat sheet for the stay: map, closest market, FYI on building and area and tips for your stay.

DF, as all the locals refer to Mexico City, despite it reputation I a like any other grande cosmopolitan city....of course there is crime, but may not be any more than others. So of course do t wear lots of jewelry, large cameras and put bags/purses in front in crowded areas. Metro is fine for day and early evening, each ride is 5 pesos. Uniformly I was told by everyone, do t hail taxis from the street, DO NOT. If need a taxis, have the doorman call you one or speak with Bruce.

USE Ricardo!!!! Bruce's driver! Polite, always right on time, very courteous, and a wealth of information he is happily shares. His English is quite excellent as well! We sued him for the pyramids and Guadalupe, he was wonderful! Wish we used him for other excursions, But definitely reach out to Ricardo.

SO SO SO happy with this condo, the apartment itself, the building (once I figured out the maze) and the location, Wonderful place to stay.
