Excellent place and certainly a must to book a show. Ballet folklórico de México. The building is art deco and steeped in history. An absolutely breathtaking building inside and out.

There is a free tour every afternoon in Spanish, with a handout in English. Get there early and sit close to the front to hear the speaker; they don't use amplification.

This building is worth visiting for its architecture and interior design. It also housed a fascinating but temporary art exhibit on the theme of "hybrids". And the murals on the 2nd floor are worth the trip as well.

Seeing Palace from outside is delightful, so I think is much better in side, I couldn't get in because of lack of time, but definitely recommend this gorgeous place.
