this is THE place for "fine arts" like ballet ad opera in Mexico. the building is amazing, has some museums inside, if you go, arrive EARLY, several art shows and if happen that there is a ballet or opera, is a MUST

There is a free tour every afternoon in Spanish, with a handout in English. Get there early and sit close to the front to hear the speaker; they don't use amplification.

This building is worth visiting for its architecture and interior design. It also housed a fascinating but temporary art exhibit on the theme of "hybrids". And the murals on the 2nd floor are worth the trip as well.

Seeing Palace from outside is delightful, so I think is much better in side, I couldn't get in because of lack of time, but definitely recommend this gorgeous place.

You can visit the lobby for free, if there are no events. If you would like to visit the museum there is a small fee, but it also allows you to see some incredible murals by Diego Rivera and Siqueiros.
