The apartment is an old 18th century building which has been retrofitted with electricity, etc. It is a beautiful escape from the city and within walking distance to Zocalo, Palacio de Bellas Artes, El Templo Mayor, etc. The owner provides information about the local amenities and attractions which is extremely helpful. We rented a car and parked at the closest public parking, but they charge 35 pesos/hour. I would not recommend renting a car while staying at this apartment. Also, the apartment doesn't have heat. We stayed in October and it was a little chilly in the evenings. The owner said he would provide an electric heater upon request. If I were to stay again, I would go ahead and request it. The living room furniture wasn't very comfortable, but we didn't spend much time at the apartment. Overall, I would stay again.
Stayed here for 4 nights with my girlfriend and we loved it. Juan and Victor were both very helpful in checking in etc. The apartment is in a perfect location, right by the Main Street leading to the Zocalo. The building itself is very nice, and is secure. The flat is spacious with everything you will need. Would very much recommend!
