This is a beautiful family run Hotel with the Best Charm and Character the owners care about every guest and are quick to assist in any needs required. It is cozy, comfy and the upper rooms have beautiful views of Playa La Ropa you will witness amazing sunsets. This is the only Hotel we go to in Zihuatanejo we have stayed there for the 6th time and plan on many more stays. Thank you Azucena and Lao.

Room Tip: Upper floors have cool tubs and ocean views

A charming family run hotel. Just steps from Playa La Ropa beach, restaurants & taxis. My room had a balcony kitchenette and wonderful sunset view. The rooms are roomy and clean. The refreshing pool offers both sun and shade for guests. I just came back from my 2nd visit at Hotel-Villas Las Azucenas and already planning my next stay there!

Room Tip: Rooms at the front have balconies & sunset views

I am returning to the wonderful Hotel Azucenas for the 4th year. The suites are beautiful, the restaurant delicious, & the owners are the best. The location is fabulous, steps from the beach. Can't wait!!!

We enjoyed our stay here. Bed was very comfy and decor was very funky cool. Open air kitchen dining area and closed off air conditioned bedroom. Even had a pool in the room. Ate in the restaurant up top one evening and it was lovely. The dishes are presented very artistically and very tasty. view is awesome. hotel was lovely and quiet and we often had the pool to ourselves. Taxis are right at the end of the hotel to give you a cheap ride downtown. Very safe area we walked to Jungle Pizza at night and it is awesome for pizza and giant margaritas. Nice little store attached to hotel sells everything you need to stock your little kitchenette. Short half block walk to beach and breakfast tables or loungers can be yours for day. lovely beach . Our only difficulty was the person before us had taken the safe key and our valuables were unavailable to us for 48 hours luckily we had friends with cash until the owner was able to get the code to unlock it for us. It was all good in the end. Will definitely return here.

Room Tip: we stayed in 203 and could just see a tip of the ocean. rooms above could see ocean and sunsets

We stayed for 7 days for a family "destination wedding". The decor has a lovely old world feel with lots of love and attention going into the design. Our room was one of the smaller ones of the group but very cute with a balcony on the street and a outdoor mini kitchen. the larger suites have their own mini-pool. The downstairs lobby area is next to the pool and bar. It is very welcoming and a great place to check-in on the wi-fi with your morning coffee. The rooftop restaurant has a gorgeous view rivaling the more expensive restaurants on the playa and the food is excellent. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Edgar and his co-worker (sorry, forgot the name) spoke very good english, seemed to be everywhere at once and were always very helpful.
