Great view in the best spot in PV. Right above the best beach restaurant in town and steps from the fun Los Muertos beach and pier. Great restaurants and fun settings surround. The kids LOVED the pool on the roof (just four feet deep, but big enough for splashing around).
The unit is comfortable and quiet. The master bedroom has a large comfortable bed, views and a large decadent bathroom. The second bedroom is fine, with an adjoining bathroom. The outside hall lights are on all night, which sends an odd light into the room- but if you sleep through, it should be no problem. The kitchen is passable, but we didn't cook a thing the week we were there. We ate breakfast on the deck and decided which of the many beach restaurants we would enjoy that day.
The building is well-run and the front desk staff helpful. All-in-all, a great place.
We booked this condo last minute for spring break, so we paid more than we would normally have spent on lodging but it was worth it! The moment we walked into the condo and saw the view... wow. Our family enjoyed the location - steps from the beach, malecon and so many good restaurants! Everything is in walking distance. Great restaurants (especially if you venture a block off of the malecon), small markets, shopping, laundry.. We had daily housekeeping, the front desk staff was great and even though it was right in the middle of it all - we slept so well! The beach was super busy during Easter break, but we loved it. The condo had an umbrella (a must!) and straw mats and beach towels. You could rent one from a restaurant as well, but we preferred to be on our own. We didn't spend much time at the rooftop pool, but it is a nice place to relax with a book and the views are amazing. It was fun to sit on the balcony and people watch. And, the owner, Liz, provided a wonderful tips sheet with everything you need to know to enjoy your stay!
Great location and the owner of this unit is wonderful and very responsive, I was very comfortable renting through her. The unit itself could use a bit of updating(blinds and basic bathroom work) but other than that it was exactly what we wanted. The balcony by far was the best part, we spent most of our time out there. The front desk was always very helpful and we felt very safe here. The family really enjoyed the roof top pool as well. You can not beat the location of this unit. We would definitely rent here again.
We just returned from a 9 day stay in Liz's lovely beachfront condo. It is situated on the second floor right above the restaurant La Palapa, which also happens to be one of our favorites in town. The noise from below is not an issue at all. We enjoyed the soothing music at night, but it doesn't go real late into the evening. The views are amazing from the balcony. The doors open up all the way, so it is like an extension of the living room. I think my family and I spent most of the time out there when we weren't at the beach, rooftop pool, or out exploring the town. There is a kitchen that has all of the things you would need (minus the food of course), but we chose to do a lot of eating around the Romantic Zone/Old Town. You are so close to everything! We were traveling with two teenage boys, so the staff had the 2nd bedroom's beds converted into two twins. The staff at the desk was friendly and helped out the few times we needed something. The maid service was great and had the condo looking perfect throughout our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. I would recommend this condo for a family or group of 4. We hope to be back someday!
Absolutely loved our stay in this beachfront condo! It was better than I had imagined --- the beach was literally just steps away, and the waves ushering in nature's tranquility created an incredibly relaxing ambience. Heaven! The accommodations were quiet, comfortable, clean and charming. The elevator was out of order 1 day (which must have been an inconvenience for those living on the floors above). We so enjoyed our drinks and meals on the balcony while taking in the views of the beach. Adored the charm of Old Town PV!! We especially enjoyed interacting with the smiling, friendly & helpful locals (and expats). All that we wanted and needed was in walking distance --- el malecon, the shop to the left and across the street's fresh fruit, salsa, guacamole & chips, and restaurants. La Palapa was very good (the restaurant next to it - same owners - was even better!), La Iguana (located in the house that Richard Burton gifted to Elizabeth Taylor - absolutely stunning with live music yet food and service was mediocre) and The River Cafe on the island of the River Cuale. We made it a point to save up all our coins to drop into the cups of the physically challenged we passed on the streets and el malecon. We hope to return again soon!
