They have two locations, one in the Sanchez Taboada Boulevard and the other in the Plaza Domino in Salinas boulevard. We go most of the times to the Plaza Domino location. The decor in this one is really amazing. The food is fresh and tasty and the service is excellent. You might want to ask for Samuel to serve you, he is really good. One of the highlights is the Kaizen Ramen soup, with Shrimp, octopus, salmon and of course Ramen. The cold sake is a must if you like to drink it.

Absolutely love the sushi here. We eat it all the time. You can sit at the grill and watch your meal made (chicken, shrimp, beef, rice, etc), you can sit at a regular table and order anything off the menu, or you can sit at the sushi bar. Their service and food are both excellent. If you want sushi in TJ, this is the place to go. They have a huge sushi menu and all of it is very, very good.

It is located in Tijuana, right next to Kitchen Boulevard food trucks and CRU coffee shop. It is on a corner, the minute you enter you feel like you’ve been magically transported to a Japan restaurant. There are two sides, on the right side is the traditional floor seated type of table and on the left side is a more modern type of place. I prefer the modern type because of its fountain that comes from your table and ends in a typical Japanese pond.
I recommend you to try the sashimi, a really thing cut of fish with a chili and lime sauce will conquer your tongue. Then ask the waiter for his sushi roll recommendation. I personally ask for a cooked salmon one, this time I ate a baked salmon and surimi roll, with a special surimi salad on top. It was exquisite. I ate it with soy sauce and eel sauce because this combination gives it a bittersweet taste that I specially enjoy since I was a little girl. For dessert they have a ton of Japanese treats, but this time I had no time to try one.
The service is a little bit slow, but the roll is worth the wait. I find it curious that at the end of your meal they give you $10 pesos for you to pay the parking lot. Now that is one sort of attention!

Komasa is definitely the right choice if you’re looking for traditional food with a touch of Baja Med tradition.

there are Two Komasa so far, one in blv. Aguacaliente and this one in blv. Snachez Taboada, both are really good, only this one has the Tempayaki area and it is the oldest one. Good thing: valet parking. Not so good thing: waitress take a bit of time to bring you stuff
