We stayed in the Pimann Buri villas for 4 nights, between the 20th and 28th of January 2018 and we could not have loved our stay more.
The Villas:
There are a total of 8 villas, some with 2 bedroom, some with three and each of them has a pool - bigger or smaller, depending on the villa. Each villa has a yard, sun loungers, a large living room and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a TV set in each room, if you need one, air conditioning, and floor to ceiling windows which all open towards the swimming pool. There are at least 2 bathrooms in each villa, normally one with just a shower and one with a shower and a bath tub. Slippers, bathrobes and high quality cosmetics are provided and replenished as needed. You also receive a bag with two beach towels in each of the rooms. There are complimentary snacks and drinks in the kitchen, replenished daily (water, coke, fanta, sprite, pringles, peanuts, popcorn), as well as items you can pay for (such as wine or beer).
Staff
The staff is great. All of them could speak good English, and we had no issues in understanding each other. We ordered food each evening (having a small child with us we did not have dinner outside much), and we had no issues getting through to the staff. They also suggested and booked tours for us, as well as a motorbike which we wanted to rent. The best thing though was after we left and moved to a different hotel, they called us to let us know that we had forgotten our headset in the villa (which was quite expensive, and very good for our 2 year old daughter, especially on the flight back home). We were unable to return that day, because our other hotel was quite far away, so they kept the headset for us and they had somebody wait for us at 5.30 am when we left for the airport to give it to us. That was great customer service.
Location.
The villas are located about 10 minutes drive from Ao Nang Beach, however they provided a free shuttle from the morning until 10 pm in the evening that you could just call 15 minutes in advance. That was great. We used the shuttle basically every day, we has no issues in getting to the beach or back at any time. We also highly appreciated that the location was not in Ao Nang itself, which can get quite crowded and busy, and was a bit out of the way. There is also a free shuttle to the airport (one way only, you would have to pay for the return trip), and they were king enough to offer a free shuttle for us to the hotel that we were moving to after our stay with them.
Food
The property does not have a restaurant per se, or we did not think they had one, but they had a room service menu and you could order from that. It never took more than 15-20 minutes to get our food. Moreover, what we really appreciated is that one night we ordered some fried rice with crab, and we were called back 10 minutes later to be informed that the chef was not very satisfied with the crab meat and that they were suggesting we replace it with seafood, which was fresh! Breakfast is served every morning in the villas and it is a choice between 4 types of breakfast (american, vegetarian, thai and another one which I forgot :) ). You order the breakfast of your choice by phone the night before, you let them know what your preferred hour would be and they come to your room, prepare it for you and set the table. You then have as much time as you want to eat, you can take the food to the beach with you if you would like (unlike in other hotels where you cannot take food outside of the breakfast area).
Overall we had a great stay. We did not want to move on after the 4 nights, it was just perfect. We highly recommend this place.
