Locationwise this ok, not as far back on the hill as many other options. Breakfast was good as was the pool area. It is not brand new and the rooms were only ok, with a small tv and uncomfortable beds. housekeeping was pretty bad and the towels changed rather randomly

Nice pool!! Staff were lovely as well. First room had two beds pushed together in a really weird way but they did move us to a room where it was just one king bed. Street markets outside the hotel are fantastic, amazing pad thai (40 baht) and banana and honey pancakes (25 baht)! Very cheap as well compared to other street markets. If going in off season can be difficult to get to Railey Bay, Tonsai Bay and Chicken Island, also better to do when the sea is flat! Phi Phi tours were cheaper from Krabi than from Phuket as well.

There were mixed reviews for this hotel when we booked but we were more than pleased with it for our 12 day stay in November/ December. Our 2nd floor room with pool view was perfect position, the room a very good size. A free bottle of water each day with tea and coffee in the room, as well as a well stocked fridge/mini bar and the availability of slippers and a hotel towel for the poolside every day all make for a good experience. Previous reviewers commented regarding poor breakfasts, well there is more than enough to choose from at the buffet. Have your eggs cooked while you wait, any way you like them, cook your own bacon while that is happening, and toast, along with the fresh fruit/ cereals/ breads/ and more traditional thai breakfast foods and salads did not lead me to find any complaints........ok the bacon isn't English bacon and the fruit juice wasn't our cup of tea but we were in another country! ....There has also been negative comments in the past regarding the staff but we found no fault...(except the pool bar music was not our cup of tea- take your own cd's and see if they will play them for you!)......the staff were all very pleasant, willing to help and able to speak and understand enough English. What made this hotel though was the location. Perfectly placed just back from one of the main roads of other bars and restaurants and shops, so ideal to stroll out in the evening to eat/ drink but with no problems about noise, or in the daytime to get to the long tail boat pier, or beaches. A great friendly (small chain of family run hotels I believe), well recommended. Didn't eat at the hotel in the evening....too many other places to wander to... My only problem was about the hard bed mattress as mentioned by some others.......however my two sisters didn't find this to be an issue...............

Room tip: pool view rooms and 2nd floor or above good

I stayed here for a week with my sister and loved it. It was fantastic value for money and nice not to be ripped off by over-priced drinks in a hotel! The pool area was spacious, well kept and the swim up bar was fab! Personally preferred the smoothies during the day but beer was great value too. Breakfast was OK, typical buffet style with fresh fruit, cdereals breads, etc. There was a cooked option - Thai and European style but we stuck to the fruit as one should in Thailand!
Krabi is stunning and Ao Nang has a great atmosphere - not as commercialised as Chaweng in Koh Samui but plenty going on. The hotel is a short walk from the centre and there are loads of bars and restaurants to choose from as well as night markets and shopping. The hotel was perfect location for us - far away enough to be peaceful but near enough to join in with the action and be able to walk home.
The staff were friendly and accommodating and the housekeeping was very good - our room was always left spotless.
I would definitely recommend the hotel for someone looking for a relaxing holiday at great value for money.
