“Very happy”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 February 2012

This was my favorite restaurant in Krabi. The atmosphere is nice inside and outside. We sat inside one night for their sunday night traditional bake. I believe it is a British-style meat and potatoes dinner. I'm American so don't know if it's authentic but it was very tasty. You must call ahead if you want beef/lamb as that sells out fast. There appeared to be several "regulars" in attendance, all expats. The pork was tender and flavorful accompanied by mashed potatoes, fried potatoes, stuffing, vegetable, gravy, a little sweet apple and some kind of popover. Way too much food and good. It looks like the owner/cook is white (Australian, British?) and his chef wife is Thai.

Our second visit was an impulse lunch sitting outside. I ordered chicken with cashews and it was nice but a little boring. My thai friend wisely ordered a spicy seafood noodle thai salad. It was amazing and bursting with flavor.

I recommend this restaurant without hesitation, especially considering the other tourist-trap options in the area.

“Delicious food, friendly service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 December 2011

We visited this restaurant this evening and it's one of the best Thai in the area. We had Thai fishcakes, chicken satay, beef massaman curry, green curry with prawns and plain rice. These are all huge portions so would suggest sharing a starter to do it justice. The green curry was nice and hot/spicy my massaman curry was excellent and like comfort food. All food was served quickly but not so fast that a taste and quality were compromised. We will definitely be going back before our holiday ends!

“Comfortable, friendly restaurant”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 November 2011

Enjoyed my lunch at this restaurant at Noparat Thara Beach. It has a nice atmosphere (open air), but is not right on the beach. It is across the street from the beach, but you can see the sea. They serve Thai and Western food. I ordered fish and chips with peas, but substituted mashed potatoes for the chips. I enjoyed it, and it was reasonably priced at 210 baht. The restaurant provides free wifi for those with a laptop. The service is friendly. Good value.
