Punjab Palace Indian and Thai food,
Is in an open air style of food court. I was on holiday from Australia, some friends had recommended the food court as a cheap and authentic place to eat. On my first visit there I met Dinesh Soni the proprietor he greeted me at the front of the small restaurant with a beaming smile and a warm welcome asking me what I was looking for and how he could help me. He assured me his food was number one Indian in Krabi we both had a smile, me thinking it was just a line, he thinking that I’d bought his line. I agreed to try his fare.
I ordered Vegetable Pakoras, Chicken Vindaloo, Lamb Rogan Josh
And some Garlic Naan and rice.
When the food came it had several dipping style sauce accompaniments complimentary. The food was amazing, fresh, hot and the depth of flavours was to die for.
The serves are smaller than I expected but I found this to be the case in Thailand. I stayed in Aonang Beach area for 2 weeks and dined at the Punjab Palace many times with friends and was never disappointed trying a different dish on each occasion. I highly recommend this eatery to everyone who loves Indian food. I can also state as Dinesh stated to me his food is number one.
