Lovely character building, close to Whittlesey centre yet quiet setting. Private garden is lovely. Well kept, and loved cottage. Thoroughly recommend the stay - landlords very friendly and accommodating. Dogs loved it!

“Excellent property”
Reviewed 22 February 2014 for a stay in February 2014

Very comfortable cottage, exactly as described. Excellent value, good location, very comfortable, well appointed, and tastefully decorated. Very friendly to dogs. Would be even better in the summer so we could enjoy the garden. Would work well for a family, using the second bedroom (sofabed) for a child. Would definitely recommend, and we will consider returning. One tip: set your satnav for Low Cross not Finkle Lane, this is where you can park.

“Great place to spend Christmas!”
Reviewed 29 January 2014 for a stay in December 2013

My family and I spend two weeks at Honeyway Cottage over Christmas. Everything was perfect! The cottage itself is a little gem! It is very cozy and has many historical architectural features while at the same time having all the modern conveniences. Paul and Sasha are wonderful hosts. When the heating went out on Boxing Day morning, Paus was over within five minutes to start it up again. Although we were a long way from home for Christmas, Paul and Sasha made the cottage warm and homey through their beautiful holiday decorations. The cottage is located in a lovely village, but is close to Peterborough. It is also a convenient location for visiting areas in East Anglia and the eastern Midlands.

“Cosy cottage”
Reviewed 8 April 2013 for a stay in April 2013

An excellent period cottage that had everything you needed. Loved the little touches like shower gel and shower caps in the bathroom and slippers in the bedrooms.
We were met by Paul who was very friendly and helpful. Cottage was very warm and cosy with lovely beams and creaky floorboards. Kitchen was well equipped and there was a delightful little garden (unfortunately it was too cold for us to use it, but it was lovely to see all the birds enjoying it). We loved the fact that we could take our dog and tortoise with us (and our daughter).
Ideal place to stay for exploring the surrounding area and would definately recommend it to friends and family.
