“Great location, lovely cottage”
Reviewed 2 November 2017 for a stay in October 2017

We enjoyed a 6 day break in Hoarwithy at this lovely cottage. It had plenty of room for 4 adults and 3 children and is well kitted-out for groups of this size. There is lots to see and do in the surrounding area. We particularly enjoyed being so close to the River Wye and watching the sheep in the fields opposite. The local pub does good food and is within easy walking distance. All in all, a nice break.

“Beautiful cottage with stunning view”
Reviewed 21 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

We loved this comfortable spacious cottage with a view over the river and valley from every room. It was a great place for six single ramblers to stay, with walks from the door, as well as in the stunning Wye Valley around Symonds Yat. We also appreciated the local pubs with a great range of modestly priced food allowing us to eat out nearby. The Grandmothers among the group were sad that they could not return there with small grandchildren as the steep garden, steps and nearby fast flowing river make it a more suitable for an all adult (with or without older children) retreat (although OK for babies with equipment available). But perfect for a group like ours.....

“Amazing amazing amazing!”
Reviewed 28 November 2016 for a stay in November 2016

Despite raining the entire weekend of our stay. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage.

It is big, beautiful and comfortable with stunning views from every window.

We had some trouble booking the cottage on our end, but communication with Murray was very easy and he was very helpful.

Looking forward to our next visit!!

Thanks again Murray

“Peaceful ,idyllic!”
Reviewed 28 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

A well equipped property which met the needs of three generations of family. The views from the cottage were spectacular and the area offered lovely walks along the River Wye and through tiny villages. The village pub was a welcome sight at the end of our walks.
The evenings were cosy and spent in the comfy sofas round the wood burner.
We enjoyed a relaxing and enjoyable few days in this gorgeous place.
It is a short drive to Ross on Wye and Hereford, both towns worth a visit.
It is advisable to take some provisions with you as the village shop which is run from the pub has limited stock.
We all agreed that we had chosen well, a perfect place for a family get together.

We had a superb weekend in this lovely cottage. It is without doubt one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in. The views from all the rooms across the river to the countryside beyond are stunning. The cottage itself is well equipped, especially the kitchen. The rooms are well appointed ...you won't need to bring anything other than your suitcase and some breakfast. The locsl pub is a pleasant short stroll away and they serve excellent food.Therr are a lot of steps up to the cottage but they are easy to climb The garden and patio is delightful with lots of places to sit snd enjoy the views.
