“Awesome glamping experience”
Reviewed 25 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We had a fantastic stay at Daliburgh. The pod was our first glamping experience and we were not disappointed. A compact few rooms with everything you need. Great hosts. They are a most generous and welcoming couple and interesting to spend time with, really keen to show us their crofting life. Great location for the Uist islands. Long white beaches on the West. Rocky pools on the East. We were lucky with the Otters seeing two in two days and spent an hour fascinated by one and the amount they can eat. Well worth the long journey to get there.

“Perfect place to stay and explore Uist, Eriskay and Barra!”
Reviewed 26 July 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We had a lovely stay in DaliMach storm-pod! We booked it for two weeks with our daughter (two years old). We were very fortunate with the weather and explored the beautiful beaches of Uist, Eriskay and Barra. The owners are very nice, friendly and helpfull and the storm-pod was well equipped with everything you need. It is small but even with a two year old child it was nice 'glamping'! On the few rainy days we enjoyed reading our books and go to the pub enjoying live music! Beach, shop and pub are nearby, we couldn't ask for more. Thank you, Jeff and Cathy!

Thank you Elisabeth and Frido for your review. It was a real pleasure to get to know you and martjee and that you had decent weather while you were here. The world cup tv watching was much more entertaining than just the two of us.

Clean, well equipped and lovely and warm, this was a great base for a few days bird watching. The host are an absolute pleasure and nothing was too much trouble.

I can highly recommend this as a base for a week or so and can't wait to return.

“A Friendly welcome to a lovely snug pod.”
Reviewed 26 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We were warmly welcomed by Jeff and Katrina when we arrived. Their house is right next to the pod, but you are separate enough to not feel encroached upon too much.
As its a working croft it's interesting to hear about it all from them.
Also so helpful with places to go and see too.
As for the Pod itself - Its bigger than it looks in the photos and for a short stay its perfect, with the Pub and Co-op close enough to walk to.

The pod is equipped well, the bed is comfy (if a little high to get on to, but there is space to put things underneath so evens out). The shower was great - good water pressure and the heat out of it was impressive.
The French press is a lovely touch too,

All in all a fantastic little place - would recommend.
