We stayed here for 2 weeks in July, it was a last minute booking due to the circumstances this year after our other plans were cancelled and we knew and liked Sivota from a previous holiday. I found Daphne to be very helpful during the booking process as she was happy to answer my questions and provided lots of useful pre-travel information too. The villa is fantastic and spacious and exactly as shown in the photos, when we entered the drive when we arrived we were astounded by the view and proximity to Sivota from even there before we had properly entered the villa. Daphne and Maria gave us a lovely warm welcome and told us the essential information about the villa and left us a welcome pack with wine. It is extremely well equipped and comfortable, Daphne seems to have thought of everything, with personal hygiene products included like soap, toilet paper and shampoo, as well as kitchen basics. Everything works perfectly including great air con as it was very hot when we were there, and it was spotlessly clean too. Of course the best thing is the amazing view from the terrace and pool area, you can see and hear all the comings and goings of the boats, and watch the swallows having drinks from the pool too. Our favourite spot was on the round day bed by the pool, perfect for 2 after a refreshing swim. Also its other best point is the private path down to the village to save driving every night to eat out, its a little harder on the way back but perfectly possible with a little rest halfway. Sivota is a very pretty bay with about 10 fairly traditional good quality tavernas and a nice welcoming relaxing atmosphere, we had many excellent meals. The room downstairs we didn't use but can see it would be perfect for older kids to have their own space with the entertainment area. The villa is well screened from the other villa too, only sharing the drive (with electric gates) and parking area. Daphne and Maria live close by in the village and are happy to pop up if needed for anything, and one day gave us a lovely cake. We can highly recommend this villa, there are no criticisms at all or even suggestions for improvement that we can think of. We have stayed in many luxury villas over the years and this is one of the best we have stayed in. Wish we could have stayed longer!
5 of us stayed for 12 days. The villa is immaculate with everything you could need. It’s a 3 minute walk to Sivota which is lively at night with great restaurants (but not too lively!)
Daphne & Maria we’re wonderful hosts without being intrusive.
We would highly recommend it.
This has to be my favourite villa and resort from the many years I’ve been visiting Greece and the Islands.
We visited as a family party of 6, and the villa accommodated everyone comfortably. The bedrooms are on different floors, and all have their own ensuites. You won’t be arguing over enough sunbeds or chairs either, its all there for you.
It’s impossible to fault the location, or the Villa and the views of the harbour and islands beyond are breath-taking. From the moment we booked, Daphne answered any questions and provided lots of information and also took care of arranging the taxi transfer for us. When we arrived both Daphne and Maria were there to greet us with a welcome back too, and a cold drink and fresh melon.
The resort itself is just fantastic, it’s not too big or too small, and you have plenty of choice where to eat, or have a drink and everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The last couple of years we did Mykonos and Santorini, but they didn’t have the old Greek charm about them as they’ve become over commercialised, whereas Sivota gave me that feeling of going back to how Greek resorts used to be.
There are plenty of places to hire boats for the day, and we were very fortunate to come across a pod of Dolphins on our trip.
We’ve taken many happy memories back home with us, and I’d love to return here again soon.
We had an AMAZING experience at Villa Athena. The villa is spotless and in great condition, with lovely amenities. The location was perfect, with a short walk down to the beautiful town of Syvota. The pool and layout of the house meant there were stunning views from everywhere!
Most importantly the host, Daphne was so kind and helpful. From day 1, she was very communicative and answered questions immediately, making our whole vacation experience effortless!
Thank you Daphne - we can't wait to come back and stay in your gorgeous villa!
Ktima Aniforeli is simply superb in every respect. From the infinity pool with its lovely view out over Sivota, its dining table on the balcony and the spacious kitchen and living area, to the beautifully finished bedrooms with their fine linen, everything exceeded our expectations. All our needs were catered for, including a washing machine and dishwasher. There is also satellite television, although we never bothered with it! We wanted for nothing throughout our week and will be back there again next year, but probably for twice as long! Daphne and Maria were very welcoming and helpful, and the direct access down to the village was a great bonus. Sivota has much to commend it, with great bars, restaurants and supermarkets, meaning that most things can be sourced within the village, although we got excellent fresh fish direct from the fishermen in Vassiliki. Thank you very much Daphne.
