“Lovely Relaxing Break”
Reviewed 10 April 2018 for a stay in April 2018

Last minute booking, was not disappointed, really peaceful break for the wife and myself along with our new puppy. Lots of lovely walks, loved the Chiltern Way.

“Great place to escape in comfort.”
Reviewed 4 February 2018 for a stay in January 2018

Me and the dog needed to escape from the decorators for a few days! This was the perfect place - comfortable surroundings, well equipped kitchen and local wine and produce provided on request by Tim and Sarah (the lamb was fabulous)! The Ridgeway and Thames Path are both nearby and perfect for walking the dog.

“Lovely in every way!”
Reviewed 7 November 2017 for a stay in November 2017

We loved the eco credentials of this place helping to lessen the environmental footprint of our holiday. We loved the welcome from the owner Tim such a warm and friendly host. We loved the walks, pubs, old churches, villages, cafes, the River Thames and more to visit and explore. We loved the cosy and welcoming vibe Mizpah has and the owner’s little black cat who made himself very comfortable on both my knee and my partners and from the visitors book it is clearly he is a trained pro in this. We loved the abundant bird life and sunrises and sunsets. Gorgeous!

“Really comfortable and interesting Ecolodge”
Reviewed 2 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Ideally situated for getting away from the hustle and bustle of life, looking out over a field with Red Kites (the bird type) flying above. The owners, Tim and Sarah were very gracious and the chickens eggs very tasty! The lodge was a delight with lots of beautiful wood, triple glazing and comfortable furniture, the mattress topper was spot on for my back and much appreciated! Within driving distance of a couple of National Trust gardens which was ideal for us and a super restaurant by the Thames for us to watch the boats and ducks go by plus really nice food!

“Wonderful relaxing break.”
Reviewed 28 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

My husband and I booked Mizpah as we have a number of friends in the area. On the evening we arrived we had 6 friends round for a BBQ and there was plenty room for us all to sit comfortably in the living area.

The owners really have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We were given some delicious fresh eggs on arrival and some homemade jam - a really lovely touch! The use of the space is inspired and being open plan it feels really roomy.

Two of our guests said that it would be ideal for when their families come to visit and that the price is exceptional value.

We would definitely stay again if we were in the area and would recommend to friends without hesitation!

Delightful!
