Peace and tranquility in the whole area. This is an amazing place that you should visit if you are visiting coorg.

well maintained as expected, awe-inspiring, we visited the place as a local attraction. the only downside being we tourist with our noisy, selfie clicking, chatting selves.

there is a Tibetian market in the vicinity selling mostly Chinese nick nacks and Tibetan souveniers

adequate parking is available.

this monastery is off the highway and is a 10 min drive up a winding roading.

take caution to stow away footwear at the footwear stow and remember to pick up your coupon.

its a monastery and hence reverent silence is expected.

No updates were available anywhere about it being closed for renovation. Has a canteen with varieties of tea. Check yourself as Chai's choice of taste varies person to person.

It's one of the serenest and cleanest places I have come across. Yes, like the other reviewers said that it's a bit crowded.

But a must visit place.
