As private pilots CSM has always been our very favorite stop in the Bahamas. We have been loyal customers for 10 years.
Management has changed their attitude and policy so dratsically that we vow to never return. Until last year, CSM consisted of charming beach bungalos, a beautful beach and great staff. The business plan has completely changed. In a nutshell, here are our impressions.
1. Rooms ( once beautful) and now getting rundown. Furnitute is not being maintained or replaced as before. The just dont seem to care about "guests"
2.Management has made the decision to concentrate on SELLING beachfront condos, to the point of being pushy and obnoxious.
3. The help is completely miserasble with new management, and those who could have already quit.
4. We spoke to other former guests, and they shared our feelings exactly.
5 Its really a shame what became of this former oasis.
WE still LOVE the help, and feel badly for them.
Bahamians are warm, wonderful people, and it really upset us to learn that their ONLY goal now is to SELL real estate. Hospitality is a thing of thre past at CSM.
It is unfortunate that such a beautiful Resort has to contend with the negative adgendas of a very few individuals or competitors that feel it necessary to write negative reviews in an attempt to discredit fine Resorts like Cape Santa Maria Beach Resort. We are certain that astute readers will recognize the overwhelming amount of positive reviews as the true indication of the wonderful holiday experiences of our many valued guests.
