Based on Trip Advisor reviews, we rented a car at the Bridgetown cruise port and drove around Barbados for the day. We stopped at Dina's Bar and café in Bathsheba and enjoyed a plate of grilled marlin, creole rice, plantain and salad with a cold bottle of Banks beer! The view of the beach and rock formations is great and highly recommend that you pick a table on the lawn. It's a little pricey for a beach restaurant, but there's not many options on east side of Barbados!
We recommend visiting the Sir Hutson Sugar Museum, St Nicholas Abbey, Cherry Tree hill and old windmill on the drive to Bathsheba. A perfect day trip around Barbados!
